Free Webinar for those interested in The 8(a) Business Development Program
The 8(a) Business Development Program is a business assistance program for small disadvantaged businesses. It offers a broad scope of assistance to firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The program helps thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs to gain a foothold in government contracting.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center (VT PTAC) will be holding a webinar focused on the guidelines of the 8(a) Business Development Program, government contracting, and how your business can participate. During the webinar, you will learn about eligibility requirements, compliance requirements and some marketing strategies. Our training won’t guarantee you a contract or subcontract, but you will be provided information needed to make the most of your ownership under a government set-aside program that is highly sought after by contracting officers in the world of government procurement.
