College grads are done celebrating and now the hunt is on for that post-college career. Grads can look to Vermont for a wide variety of high quality jobs. WalletHub’s new survey of 2018’s best and worst states to find a job places Vermont at #7. WalletHub compared the 50 states across 29 key indicators of job-market strength, opportunity, and a healthy economy. Employment growth, median annual income, and average commute time were some of the indicators contributing to the rankings.
Quality of life had a lot to do with Vermont’s high ranking. According to the study, Vermont workers are among the top 5 in the country to spend the least amount of time working, and #4 in terms of highest job satisfaction.
